Dude, Hudspeth is not going to ever be the HC at State. Look, Lafayette is no great shakes, but Starkville makes it look like Uptown New Orleans. When he leaves ULL, it will be for greener pastures than Moo U has.

Be my guest.
I hope you do get him someday. But he won't be an upgrade over what you have now.
Of course, like your brethren up the road in Oxford, you guys seem to consider 8-4 a successful season, so i guess he'll do. Hey, there's some happiness in at least knowing your place in the order of things, right?

You must never watch MLB if you think going at a guys head is taboo. They go at a batters head to get inside his head. This is fundamental baseball! Apparently it worked. Cohen got all up in everyone's head in Coonassville.
OK this is so full of dumb and this is it for me....but I feel obliged to point out some things to you to hopefully help you down the road.
A) I didn't actually say you don't go at a guys head....it was the Bama fan YOU quoted as baseball genius for saying throwing at people is acceptable.
B) Throwing at people is acceptable sometimes. However, throwing at a guys head is never acceptable. Why in the hell do you think big league pitchers mostly hit guys in the thigh or in the back. Are you that foolish to think that they aren't capable of hitting someone in the head. It isn't done not at MLB, college, or any level.
C) Brushing back and what was done to Katz are 2 entirely different things......You don't brush a man back in his first at bat in game 3 for things that happened in games 1 and 2. Why did the pitchers in games 1 and 2 not go after him? Were they too chicken shite to do it?
D) Even comparing this situation to MLB is stupid. In MLB guys stay around for 10-15 year careers and develop habits and hatreds. Katz has been around for 4 yrs now, but he never has had any ill towards MSU that was reflected in a game situation or in the media prior to Sunday. Hell prior to Sunday LSU in genral doesn't have any ill will towards MSU besides some dumbass LSU fans that still get their jimmies rustled because your man crawled across the goalline back in 1999. The bottom line is MSU threw at Katz's head because they were mad because he and LSU beat them...point blank. A bitchy a-hole move from a bitchy a-hole coach and team.....that is fact based.
If you condone throwing at a guys head then you must condone all things that cause major injuries in sports.

No doubt. We can use as many easy wins as possible with Alabama setting everyone's schedules.

Sounds like something the NFL Commish would say. Katz is more of a pussy than Cohen is an a-hole.

After reading through this thread, I've come to one conclusion. Coach John Cohen of the Mississippi State Bulldogs is The 2013 Jimmy Rustler of the year. There are so many mad people in here.

So what if LSU fans think Cohen is classless? He has done a pretty good job so far here at MSU and I have met him personally I think he's an alright guy. So what if he makes some aggressive and frowned upon calls in a few games and everyone pisses their pants. You guys ever heard of coaches like Ozzie Guillen, Tony Larusa or Buck Showalter? They're what people call aggressive and they piss (pissed) alot of teams off but people get over it. Now it's time to get over it.

They'll get over it as soon as more Midol is shipped into the local stores in the baton rouge area.
