The ball moves L to R on the screen because the camera is just L of center. You can stop it where it is overlapping his helmet and crop it making it look closer than it is. Here's the whole picture.

You can also stop the video at a point where the ball is clearly past him, which is what you did here.
The ball is clearly past his bat there.

I know exactly how it works, apparently you do not if you think 75% of our players on the 2009 CWS team, THREE YEARS into Mainieri's tenure were Smoke's players. Yes, you're that fricking stupid.
