I guess we can take solace in that no Mississippi St assistant coaches yelled to our cutoff men this year to try and confuse them. Also, we can take solace in the fact that we won the series, again. And that we're not State fans.

The worst part is that Katz had not showboated a single time. State decided to throw behind his head because they couldn't beat him. If this were MLB, Renfroe would have gone down hard the next time he walked up to the plate. You throw at our hottest player, we'll take yours down.
But this isn't MLB. There's no room for that crap in amateur athletics. Paul Mainieri has class, and knows that his teams don't have to play that way to win championships. Miss St has first base coaches yelling "Cut two!" on relay throws and now they target players on the other team that they can't keep from hitting jacks.
No wonder Ron Polk wanted his name removed from anything that Cohen was in charge of.
