Tough to beat a football team when the opposing team intentionally knocks out your starting qb on the first series.
if you're a passing team, you may not want to run your qb at a bunch of hungry 300+ lbs. men.

Nothing to do with you, move along nothing here for you to see or possibly understand. You don't know who I am, and how do you know that I have never won a championship. Wasn't that really a stupid remark to make?

I agree Bamaboy. Speculation is fun, but useless.

Because they can't handle the truth?

Quit bitchin and go scream about how good LSU's baseball team is. See if anyone other than LSU fans end up giving a shite.

Alabama didn't knock out McCoy. McCoy's father did. He could have played in the second half. Injury was not serious.

Either way. Was great to get a championship.

He couldn't throw a football 7 yards. That sounds kind of serious to me.

How do you feel about the NCAA and your recent hearing.

I hate Bama as much as the next guy but how is it Bama's fault that they knocked McCoy out of the game? You can't win championships if you count on 1 player to do all of the work. If Ingram went down Bama still probably would have won.

That's news to me. Link to Colt, Mack, or Colt's father saying this?

If McCoy had played the entire game Texas would have won the game.

ok, this is my last post of this subject. I met a Horn Fan today. He said he can't wait to play bama again. Living in Houston, and having to put up with all the crybabies is getting to me. I thought after the game, ok, lets do a rematch. No, I never want to play Texas again. I hope every living Texas Fan spends their entire life wanting a rematch that never comes!! We don't need Texas

We were robbed of seeing who was better when McCoy went down.
Screw Texas & screw McCoy, they LOST, get over it...injuries are part of the game...we don't know how the game would have turned out, but who cares...one poster already mentioned one player should not make a difference, & Texas has so much talent, their 2nd string team could probably almost win the Big 12.

Hey... if Alabama didn't have a 3rd string QB starting for them in 2004 (along with seven other starters going down on offense throughout the season), they would've went all the way.

If Tyrone Prothro had never suffered a career-ending injury in 2005, LSU and AU wouldn't have pulled those wins off.

So I guess if Colt McCoy (who didn't pose a threat on the first few drives - remember the running game got them down field, not his short passes for little gains) hadn't gone down, Texas would've scored approximately 870 touchdowns and would have sent Saban off into his next job opportunity, which would've likely been the Redskins or Seahawks...

We played that game against Florida in the SECCG in 2008.

Am I certain Alabama would have still won if McCoy played the whole game? Hell no.

Do you expect me to be disappointed that Dareus knocked him out? If so tough shite. Could have just as easily have been MeElroy or McClain that went down. None of you frickheads that are "what-iffing" us to death would have shed a tear for us if WE'D lost, would ya?

Us Bammers are arrogant, insecure, and not allowed to play the what if game. C'mon, get with the program guys!
