McCoy is a good QB.

You're a typical Bammer- Too stupid to have any actual football IQ, and myopic enough to not have any respect for another team's players/coach.

McCoy left Texas without winning a national title or a heisman and the only Big 12 championship game he won had to be extended to 60:01 long for the kicker to save his arse. What I said was the truth- he looked Sneadish against every legit defense he played this year.

I've got no problem giving respect where it's due, but the fool Mack Brown and his overrated QB do not deserve it, especially after all the crying and whining they did after the game.

That means he's not a good QB?

shite boy, I'd hate to see what you'd have to say about QB's who won LESS than 45 games in their careers. Oh wait, that's all of them besides McCoy.

Quick question. Do you think Trent Dilfer was better than Dan Marino?

Boom? I think my point is pretty evident. Some of the most insecure people ever act arrogant. It is called false bravado and is very evident with gumps. You are so insucure you have to constantly defend things that you can't really defend (like Bama was better than Texas when anyone that watched the game knows we will never know). Then you make ridiculous arrogant claims like 13 titles when it is really 7 or 8 because you are insecure. And the title claims started in the mid-80's when bama was getting owned and got super insecure. It is pretty obvious how it works. Gumps always trying to defend anything and everything (even when it is retarded to do so) = false bravado and supposed arrogance to cover massive insecurities.

Hope this helps. Feel free to discuss and I may try to reply later when I have the time.

See. You get a great deal of self worth and actually think Bama football translates into success for you, you not being a pussy, and you finding happiness. Sounds pretty pathetic.

That's fascinating stuff. Did they teach you this in 'Obsessed With Bama 101' during your Freshman year at Cow College?

I said, quite plainly, that he was overrated and looked like Snead vs the few great defenses he played this year.

That doesn't mean I don't think he's a 'good' QB- he looked particularly good racking up ridiculous numbers in that shitty conference he played in.

Auburn's entire history is built around Alabama. How they can call anyone else insecure, specifically one of the greatest football programs of all time, is beyond me. But then again I don't take part in the cult sermons on ITAT...

You didn't call him a pussy. I just happened to hit post reply under your post. It wasn't directed at you. I can see where that would be confusing though

i know this..i think they would rather have the streak than a national title...sad really,of course they beat mostly Shula during the streak, which is no big deal cause everyone else did as well...

The Big 12 is a good conference. They aren't the Big East or the Big 10.

There's that whole "myopic" thing I was talking about.

I'm always amazed at the extent that Bammer Nation will go to cheapen their victories by degrading and disrespecting their opponents.

It's not good enough to win the football game.
It's just a part of the "culture" I guess.

Because of your sense of entitlement you are arrogant. You are also perceived to be arrogant because you think everyone else should think that you as an Alabama fan are special and unique when in truth the rest of us see your team (not you) as just another of many successful football programs.

The insecurity comes from worrying about how you are going to get and maintain that which you think you are entitled. Even though you are the current MNC, you seem to be miserable when you see anyone else who is happy, doing well, perceived as a possible threat to you, or not intimidated by you. It's for this reason that I think most Alabama fans, despite the success of their football team must be the most unhappy of all SEC fans and yes, also the most insecure.

All Alabama fans do not fall in this category. The OP does though, and so do those who agree with him and take delight in the misery of a fine man like Mack Brown.

Yes you are a Knight in shining Purple and Gold Armor. Too bad the LSU Nation degraded and direspected Texas all over this board after the College World Series. I'm always amazed at the extent the LSU Nation can become hypocrites.

Obviously you don't know your football history. Auburn has been playing football longer than your team has. Don't believe me? Look it up.

So has Rutgers, but it doesn't make them any more relevant in the grand scheme of things.

Specifically, my comment about 'being built around Alabama' was in regards to your celebration of not being blown out in the IB almost-win, your ejaculatory response to not winning a recruiting MNC but finishing ahead of Alabama, how the 6 year streak is what AU is known for, how AU's success isn't measured by national championships but IB victories over an arbitrary time frame, how your AD schedules 11 straight grueling weeks of play so you can be freshest for the IB, how your fans sing 'to be an Auburn tiger' to drown out Rammer Jammer, and on and on and on.

I've always liked Mack Brown. He can come off as whiney at times, but he's one of the truly good guys.

Playing Texas in the Rose Bowl stadium was an awesome occurrence, and something I'll never forget. So, I don't find the need to spend time "degrading and disrespecting" the Longhorns. I have plenty of respect for them, or any other program considered among the nation's elite.
