Mack needs to just be thankful that Carroll, Leinart, and Bush were too hardheadedly stupid, and their Defense too inept, to attempt a single running play with a 13 pt USC lead with 4:04 left in the 2006 Rose Bowl..otherwise the Teasips wouldn't even have their lone crown of the MB era.

That, and the transformation of the artist/HC formerly known "Big Game Bob" into "Bad Game Bob" at Chokelahoma(O-fer-recent-BCS-U)..be thankful for this too.

That's what confuses me. Didn't USC have a few starters on defense out with injuries in that game? That's what I was told. If that is true then why don't people say that Texas was lucky to win and that USC was really the better team.

McCoy was a joke against every good defense he played last year. He looked silly against OU, Neb, and went out after 5 plays vs Bama. Texas was a glass cannon and Mack Brown was a retard for putting all his eggs in one basket imo. It takes a team to win, not one overrated QB. The big 12 will keeping losing to SEC in bowl games until they figure that out.

Players out or not, USC's D had been exposed badly by Fresno and Notre Dame..two games that USC were somewhat fortunate to win.

Tough to beat a football team when the opposing team intentionally knocks out your starting qb on the first series.

Well my point is that if USC really did have players out on their defense then why aren't people saying that Texas wasn't really the best team.

Intentionally? Umm I don't think that we hurt him on purpose. It was a freak accident.

Good strategy, huh? Worked for the Saints.

I wonder if Texas fans allowed OU fans to make the same excuse after the red river shootout?

Sam Bradford actually looked good in the time he was in the game and I think he even threw a TD before being injured.

You gumps are the most insecure fan base in the history of college football. Maybe that is just what happens when your life, existance, and self-worth revolve around 18-22 year old kids you do not know and have no control over. Guess I would be insecure too if my self-worth was largly impacted by something I can't control.

McCoy is a good QB.

You're a typical Bammer- Too stupid to have any actual football IQ, and myopic enough to not have any respect for another team's players/coach.

How can we be the most arrogant fanbase in college football and be insecure at the same time? Pick an insult and stick with it.

I can't speak for everyone but I gather a great deal of self-worth from knowing that I am not a bitter pussy who has to create hypothetical scenarios and alterantive realities in order to find happiness. But the world needs losers like you too, I guess.

A head coach for an elite football program gets paid millions of dollars to win national championships. When you get their and lose of course it hurts. What he said in that interview in no way makes him a pussy. If he was coaching for my school and lost I would hope he was not over it yet.
