I would take Meyer's opinion over Brown's, but I doubt he has seen Texas practice, so take it with a grain of salt.

The CFP is a jamboree tournament. Winning two games against teams picked by “experts” doesn’t justify Texas being validated. They best a 4 loss Clemson team that lost to UGA by 35 points and an Arizona State team that may have 1 legit NFL player and played no one all year.

Ohio State will be a worse overall team but could very well have better QB play than they did last year. They have the best offensive player in the country and probably the best defensive player in the country too, though I think there are a couple of guys who have arguments for that title.
Their OL was shaky at times even last year though, and if its shaky against Texas they will lose.

Yeah the subjective analysis I gave of Texas being overrated by losing to the only 2 good teams they played last year is based off of Florida sucking. Many teams beat Florida last year lmao. Florida was not good.
I’m so bitter over losing to a powerhouse program that has a whopping 1 national title in the last 55 years. Whatever will I do
