I think the point he is trying to make is that the best LSU team in the history of the school and what you guys call the greatest team ever in college football that had the greatest QB ever to play college football according to LSU fans just barely squeaked by the worst Alabama team since Saban has been at Bama. Certainly since his first Alabama team. Meanwhile Mac Jones the QB LSU fans dismiss and mock came into Tiger Stadium and totally blasted the worst LSU team in recent memory. I think that’s his point.

What will be comical, is Alabama beating LSU for the 10th time out of last 11 this fall.
Mac would be celebrated as a generation player if he played in Red Stick by LSU fans. We both know this much.
Is Mac better than Joe...not at all. Hell Alabama ain't QB factory but sure as better than what LSU has produced over past decade or so.
It's not farfetched that we could see 4 Alabama Quarterbacks start at some point in the season probably 3 being conservative.
