Mac was always the better QB and in fact the best ever in CFB history. Hard to match up to that.

Jalen was better than Tua.

Jalen won an SEC title twice. Tua never did.

Georgia shut down Jalen in 2017
Georgia shut down Tua in 2018

Mac was the only one of the 3 that Georgia could not effectively gameplan against. Does it mean he’s the better QB? Who knows?

Yea...no.

As Bama's starter in 4 playoff games, Jalen averaged less than 100 ypg passing and 16.5 points per game

Burrow did well against some minor teams like Texas, Georgia Southern, Northwestern State and Utah St. Those were good teams to pad your numbers against.

He barely beat the worst Tide team since Saban has been there. Not a bad result for a team who won it all with zero competition.

Tua was injured in the SEC title game he played in. He started but did not finish it. He did win a Natty after replacing an ineffective Hurts against UGA. So you can’t judge the players using 1 or 2 games. Tua is a way better QB than Hurts was. Tua just got injured to easy. He had to play hurt in several big games and was ineffective in most of them. That’s why Mac is better than both Tua or Hurts. He can do everything the other 2 could as a QB as good or better plus he can take a hit and last a whole season.

Buros was a one year wonder. Without his NFL coach there, he would have been at 50% passing just like he did before and now is doing in the NFL. Too many excuses made for this young man. Not helping him any. You hate to see it.

I watched 2018 SECCG highlights yesterday and Tua's injury on that first possession was pretty frustrating. He could have so easily avoided getting injured right there by simply throwing the ball away. There was nothing there and there were two unimpeded defenders right in his face, but he tried to make a highlight reel play, and pump faked, and kept it and then got twisted up. Most of his injuries were in similar situations.

While talented to be sure, Tua was not a smart player.

A cigar smoking, fat Alabama king pin pimp was a much better QB than wannabe Vanilla-Ice Cauley MacCulken.

To some degree, everyone is like that in all endeavors but let's not get away from the main point of this thread.
