Why is Cowboys-Cardinals replay on NFL network here? Does anyone else have this? Even the guide says this should be NE-PHL

Jones was drafted to replace Cam and by all accounts is ahead of schedule and it will likely happen sooner rather than later. He is a much more accurate passer and is a better fit for the Patriots.

Pretty sure they said Cam was going against PHI’s second string DL w/ NE 1st string.
Not sure about PHI’s secondary.

I'm sure it is going to happen. Cam is a free agent after this season and nobody has ever thought he would stay after this season. So I am pretty sure Mac Brady will be the starter in 2022. It will probably be Bill's last year.

It is the second pre-season game of the year. Most teams keep their starters in at least two series this time of year. Big cuts coming this week, so both teams want to see their backups get some real competition. That usually happens in the second half. Starting QBs are usually out of the game after a couple of series.

Man you're trying to hard here, most reasonable Alabama posters know Cam is the starter and currently gives the Pats the best chance to win. Don't get things twisted Cam is a phenomenal athlete but still never became a polish QB.
It's like waiting for a smoked brisket to be done with Mac taking over. Yeah you will see, smell and taste on the sRant from us.

This is the first time that there's only been 3 preseason games. There is no normal for what teams are doing this year in the preseason.

They still have a system to evaluate young talent. In the past some teams would keep starter out of one of their early pre-season game. Season ticket holders complained and that is why you see the starter for at least a couple of series. Look for the starters to play an entire half in the last game.

Yes, not saying that some believe Mac will be the starter game 1 but you have to separate hubris from reality. Game 3 of Preseason is where Starter usually plays the first half and sometimes parts of the 3rd quarter and I fully expect Cam to be the starter. Cam isn't a spring chicken anymore he hasn't started 16 games due injuries since his MVP season only played 4 seasons without missing a game due to injuries. So likely Mac will start or thrust into duty early than later in season. Before you twist my words nope don't wish injuries on anyone either.
