Just my opinion, and as stated. I use to vacation in NOLA, as a tourist, plain ole common sense keeps ya safe. French Quarter is a blast, just stick with the crowds, don't be going down dark empty alleys, the police have a big presence there to keep people safe. Common sense and manners takes you a long way in protecting yourself.

This is very true. Most the posters claiming New Orleans is a shithole are also calling it Nawlins.
That tells me everything I need to know.

After LSU's 9-6 victory in Tuscaloosa in 2011, I walked up to my jeep parked next to the houndstooth to find a hole in the bumper and a pair of red shoes with a broken heel on the ground. A classy Alabama lady kicked my bumper next to my Louisiana license plate and broke the heel off her shoe.

Might not want to post the license plate. If I can do it, many that would have nefarious motives can as well.
I use an app called Canva But there are plenty of apps that will allow you to do it. What you want to do instead of blacking it out by drawing over the top of it is actually put an element like a colored black box in front of it. Then when you send it there’s no way to remove the black box because it’s an additional element on top of the text. So you wouldn’t be able to adjust the color or tint and contrast to see text behind it.
