Sigh. I remember when I was excited about this.
I also remember when rapists played with our pep bands at Final Fours.

I hate being in as an 8 or 9 and having to play the #1 in the Their Home Region. Might have to just ball out and do the damn thing.

I don't get Michigan State as an 8 seed.
1-5 against top 50
3-6 against top 100

Not sure how I would feel about LSU meeting up with VCU in the tournament. Would hate to root against the Rams.

You'd likely end up with a tougher road to the sweet 16 though.

Not to the Sweet 16, but to the Elite 8
a 7 or a 10 will play a 2 in order to make the sweet 16.
a 4 or a 5 will likely play a 4 or a 5 to make the sweet 16.
IMO....You don't want to be an 8 or 9, because you play a 1 in the second round. You don't want to be a 7, because 7's lose to 10's often.

i legitimately think a 10 seed is better than an 8 or 9. especially this year where avoiding kentucky and virginia is placed at a premium.

8 of 10 Big 12-2 teams
Dream scenario: KU a 2 seed and Arkansas a 7 seed in Omaha

Play in game is better than 8/9 seed imo.

This year, I wouldn't mind being a 4,5,or12 in Dukes or Kansas bracket.
For Arkansas, I want to avoid Wisconsin and Gonzaga at all costs.

Still a lot of time for UGA, LSU and Ark to move up. If SEC is gonna get 5 teams in (the goal for the conference) it needs those three to keep winning and have either A&M or Ole Miss keep winning and jump in. I think we can get 5 in as long as the right teams continue to win.
SEC teams are trending well though. LSU, Ark and UGA all on the rise.

Surprised you left out A&M, none of those 3 have rised as much as we have. From CBI bound to bubble team.

How is Mich State an 8 seed? What a joke, they loss at home to Texas Southern in an pay out game.
Posted on 1/26/15 at 11:40 am to Hawgeye
Oklahoma a 5 seed is also laughable.
They're 1-4 in their last 5 games. 12-7 overall, 3-4 in league play. 2-4 on the road.
