It's risen....

aTm doesn't have much of a resume outside of what they have done in league play.

1-4 against RPI top 50 teams
Best win OOC is 115 Sam Houston State
Had chances to beat Dayton, Baylor, Kansas State OOC but lost.
Winning one of those three games and things are much different for Aggies. Which is why there is absolutely no talk of aTm in any bracketology

Except for the one in the OP.

Lunardi must not put as much stock in the RPI as most do. UGA has a better RPI than Oklahoma by 4 or 5 spots but is a 9 seed while Oklahoma is a 5 seed. It's too early to care that much, just seems odd.

A&M is certainly on the rise. Put yourselves in good position.

They're in the first 4 out. That certainly qualifies as them being talked about.

Your and my definitions of "absolutely no talk of" must be different.

Oklahoma is getting a huge benefit from playing in the Big 12.

Thing is, I don't think the Big 12 is as good as its led on to be.

Agreed, Hawgeye. We won at Kansas State, who was struggling at the time, but is now 5-2 in the Big 12.

They're simply cannibalizing themselves. Lots of good teams still.

Actually, their best OOC win is New Mexico in Puerto Rico.

8/9 Seeds is such a shitty draw. It's a much better deal to be a 12 for example and draw an overrated 5 than be a 9 and play a 1 second round.

This is a direct reference to LSU in 2009 beating Butler first round then getting knocked out by eventual national champion UNC

Would you rather be a 9 seed or a 1 seed in the NIT?

If I'm not a 1,2 or 3 seed my favorite seed is 6.
