I thought you LSU fans would not want to go to the playoffs,if you didn't win the conference

The committee has set a precedent :

Conference championship games hardly matter.

Op has an excellent, well thought out screen name. Everything after that indicates LSD is still the unfortunate drug of choice among certain throwback hippies. And I thought they had all disappeared decades ago....

You need Oklahoma to lose to Texas again.
You need Alabama to blow out Georgia in humiliating fashion in the SECCG after losing to Auburn.

You probably need Clemson to lose to USCjr
You would need Ohio State to lose to Northwestern in the B1G

LSU needs Texas to beat Oklahoma and Bama to whip Georgia. Ohio State needs to beat Michigan and then lose to Northwestern. And all of that is very possible

frick it let’s see what has to happen for this to work:

-Ohio State beats Michigan
-Ohio State then loses to NW in Big Ten Championship

-Clemson loses to S Carolina or Pitt in ACC Championship (probably need both)
-Georgia loses to GT and beats Bama
-Bama loses to Auburn in Iron Bowl
-ND is likely in even with a loss in this scenario

CFB Playoff
1. Notre Dame
2. Michigan
3. Bama
4. LSU/Clemson

All of that happens and the UCF edges out LSU by taking the 4th spot, being the only undefeated team

I'm not convinced they'll beat Memphis with Milton's injury

None of that works out. Bama loses twice there s still 29-0 and your 2. ND loses they have 1. OSU beats Mich they have 1. Find your self something else to wish for. In other words shat in one hand and wish in the other and see which fills first.

Even though they only beat Memphis by 1 the first game, It is more likely they beat them by 40 points after losing Milton...

Than all of the other bullshite happening to get LSU in the playoff

You've got the same path as Auburn.
