I thought we were playing with opponents stats now
Posted on 12/4/19 at 5:30 pm to lsupride87
Think about this
Subtract 140 yards and 16 pts for all of LSU’s opponents and see where they would be ranked
At the same time, add 140 yrds and 16 pts for all of Georgia’s opponents

I don’t think your theory works

Teams UGA played got to play Georgia. It helps the numbers.

Or we could do common opponents
LSU outscored UGA by an average of 19 pts per game against common opponents
LSU outgained UGA by an average of 161 yards per game against common opponents
Ouch

Looks mostly like you’re just playing with yourself.

Very informative post. Clearly Georgia has the superior offense. Anyone with football sense could obviously watch Jake Fromm throw for his 35 yards and realize that.

How many games do Fromm fail to throw for more than 100 yards? Thanks.

Georgia opponents defenses rank so high because they got to play Mr. 35 yards
Interesting. If this is true, couldn’t you say that Georgia’s opponents have such weak offensive numbers because they suffer from playing a great defense?
