craft beer and only stock my personal fridge with IPAs

I remember the days back when "craft beer" didn't mean overloaded with hops.

Good times.

Its a football game Steve. Jesus Christ. I love craft beer and only stock my personal fridge with IPAs and the like, but good God this is a perfectly fine list for mass consumption

Because I think Bud/Miller and strawberry beer is shite, then I'm a douchebag? It's okay to admit that's shitty beer and the selection could be better. The kolsch may be a good beer, however.

I'm an adult with an adult job and an adult paycheck. I don't econo-drink beer like I did as a teenager.

Surprised they don’t have Keystone light and PBR on the menu in Baton Rouge

As queer as people have gotten over beer the last few years, there is NO WAY a whole "selection" of beer would satisfy most young people today. The idea of a selection, anyway, is not for you to pick from a list of obscure beers, all of which you like, to find one you're in the mood for at a football game. The idea of a list of beers is for you to be able to select ONE which you would find acceptable while watching a game in an outdoor stadium.

But it's predictable, show a list of beer, and all the beer snobs have to show up and tell everyone about all the obscure beers they know of.

Remember, you're not there for the beer, you're there for a football game. And if you want to be a snob, be a wine snob. Beer is for the working man, not the intellectuals.

When you complain about the beer list at a football game, yes, actually it does

Lagers and Pilsners sustained the world for 1000s of years, but now that Steve as had an IPA he cant even accept those beers for a football game

Stella, Guiness, Sam Adams, Yuengling, etc. are not obscure but they are much better than the Bud Light and Miller Lite that every construction worker saves up to buy for his weekends.

On the list, Steve

Also, many CEOs, Doctors, Lawyers etc drink Bud Light or the equivalent. Actually, the majority of them do.

Not really, especially for drinking at a game where it’s gonna be 90 degrees

I mean have you read your posts in here?

Think about how much of a complete douche turd you sound like. For generation after generation, pilsners and lagers were the standard. Period. Now that some craft beers hit the scene, you cant stand the thought of a beer list of 7 beers at a freaking football game. Its cringe worthy

Who the frick do you think is filling a 100,000 seat stadium in Louisiana every other weekend?

Besides which, when I'm sweating my arse off, like just after mowing the lawn, I don't want some heavy stout at room temperature, I want a light, cold beer like Miller or Bud lite. When I'm at the pub with my mates, yeah, a Guinness and a shot of Jameson's is what I want. It's all about context and target market. I'm thinking they're not really going after the Purple Monkey Dishwasher crowd in Tiger Stadium.

IPAs were a necessity for 1000s of years due to the natural preservative properties in hops. Since you're stuck on IPA's, we can talk about that. The name helps to give it away - India Pale Ale. You know, there was this little thing called the East India Trading Company. What do you think people drank on ships back then? Sure as shite wasn't water. This was all before germ theory - impure water made people sick or killed them. That's why everyone on ships drank beer or other forms of alcohol. Hops helped keep the beer from going bad. Hence, earlier civilization, commerce, and military ships relied on heavily hopped beers.

Wanna keep showing your stupidity?

Stupidity is insisting on drinking IPAs when we now have refrigeration and can actually enjoy well-balanced beers anywhere, any time.
