How many yards have our defense given up in a losing effort this year?

It is well established that LSU has a bad defense.

They have compiled almost an entire season of work to support this reality.

This is wrong. We were up 35-28 at the end of the 3rd quarter and won by 14.

By 14 points. LSU put up 42 points and 511 total yards on that #12 defense. Georgia? 24 and 398.

Also, LSU took the lead for good at 35-28 with 3:15 left in the 3rd quarter. They did not trail in the 4th.

Auburn held LSU to 23 points, while Auburn's 54th-ranked O scored 20, losing by 3.

LSU put up 508 total yards. Stalled in the red zone due to poor footing and a beast DLine. Georgia? 21 points and 251 total yards.

It was 56-6 mid way through the 4th and Arky had 187 yards of offense.

For reference Rutgers' 128th ranked offense (2nd to last in CFB) scored 21 on Ohio St.

Did you watch the game are just reading the box score? the game was 56-6 with 12 minutes in the 4th. I am not trying to pick but Arkansas went for a 4th down on their own 34 yard line and came up short, the official gave him the spot and Coach O did not challenge it. Most starters are out and they scored. They on-side kicked and the ball got rumble tumble fumble down to about the LSU ten yard line and punched it in.

Golden State was mid pack in points allowed/defense due to their 3pt style of play... check where they finished on offense, W's and championships.

Amazing some of y'all haven't figured this very simple thing out yet.

It's interesting that UGA/UF/AU are all damn near identical in total offense, scoring offense, total defense, and scoring defense. The slight difference on the D side can partly being attributed to UF and AU having already played LSU.

Based on nothing but scores against like opponents:

UGA best case: 28-23 Dawgs
LSU best case: 42-20 Tigers
Likely outcome: 33-24 Tigers

My first prediction: 35-21 Tigers

Let me get this straight, UGA fans think playing in a dome is going to benefit their team, but not the high-flying LSU offense?

You have to look at things besides just stats. Arky is on interim coach who had his own ‘trick plays’ to get points and yards, and not to mention they know they have 0 to lose, so they played very loose. Now, take your boring offense expect to put up 350 yard and 20 points while we will put up 600+ yards and 40+ pts on your ‘amazing defense’, who can not match up player for player with us. Will be a blowout, UGA can just hope to keep it within 2 scores by running the clock

The only stats that really mattered... Rakeem Boyd 13 carries 33 yards and 0 touchdowns. (4th leading rusher in the SEC) Clyde Edwards-Helaire 6 carries 188 yards and 3 touchdowns. Numbers from when it was still a game.
