He said when he was at A&M as an assistant, the recruiting a really tall girl with no skills, thinking they could develop the skills. He said, "she was so bad, she couldn't play dead in a bad western".
She signed the Russioan with teh intention of having 2 bigs

So wait, now we want players giving coaches permission to run their teams as they see fit?
Some of you clearly lost the last scraps of brain you had. There’s no other explanation.

Russia and Ukrane can both be crap countries with corrupt governments. There isn't always a good and a bad guy. Sometimes just two bad guys.

"Mulkey apparently wanted to use Koval and Minaeva as 'ambassadors' to help mend fences in a sign of unity by having the two share a locker room."
I doubt these are Mulkey's words. I assume she just wants to win basketball games, period.
However, the appropriate time to push "mending fences" and "unity" may not be when the Ukrainian girl is worried hourly that her father is in actual combat against an invading army and that bombs could kill her grandmother on her way to get groceries every morning.
If I were in Koval's shoes, it would strike me as trying to normalize those things.

It was reported that Mulkey was left confused and somewhat dazed when she said, " I just thought SEC women's basketball would be much bigger than all that bombing and dying and funerals and stuff.
