The previous record for margin of victory was 108 points, which was set by LSU coach Kim Mulkey when she was coaching Baylor in 2016. So Mulkey broke her own record.

Mulkey seems like a bitch.

Kim Mulkey still looks like she chainsmokes Marlboro Reds in a yellow princess outfit?

You want to know the worst thing about this rout?

It's that your local boy's AAU U15 team would beat the LSU women's team by 109 points, at least if they put any effort into the game.

So imagine what your local boy's AAU U15 team would do to the Texas Southern women's team.

It is interesting how the score was pretty unremarkable early on in the game. Texas Southern actually had an early 6-5 lead. Even after one quarter, the score was 25-13 LSU, which was on pace for a 48 point victory that would be pretty unremarkable for NCAAW standards. (There are 60+ point wins in NCAAW almost every day, especially during OOC season.)

But then TSU got just 9 points the rest of the game, including 0 points in the second quarter.

I realize decency is not something that LSU knows anything about as a fanbase, but your coaches go great lengths to prove your school is better off getting kicked out of the SEC.

I hear the independent gig might be worthwhile? Try that.

Not like the other three. He's a great example of winning without controversy or a-hole behavior.

15 and under AAU championship boys team would destroy the women’s Olympic team.

If they played physical I imagine there would be some crying as the women would constantly be picking themselves off the floor.

Angel Reese is 6’4” with about a 2” vertical jump has lead the league in rebounds.

A 14 year old boy would be over the top of her on every shot or strip her when she came down with the ball.

There is a reason girls don’t play on men’s and boys teams.

Meh, play against him a few times. He has some gamesmenship that gets under opposing fans skin. The offensive timeouts 6 times a game definitely draws some boos in the road.

A few years ago, the Australia women's soccer team lost to a local boys U15 team 7-0. The Australia women's team was ranked #5 in the world at the time.

There was another game where just last year where the Swiss women's soccer team lost 7-1 to a local boy's soccer team.

And keep in mind that these are games vs women's national teams, not vs a women's college team.

I don't really know what the equivalent of a soccer rout is to an equivalent basketball rout. Even if you want to argue that a 7-1 or even 7-0 soccer win isn't the equivalent to a 109 point basketball win, a women's college basketball team isn't going to be anywhere close to as good as a women's national team. A women's national team is going to be the very best 12 women at playing the sport in the entire country. Women's college basketball teams are not only usually younger (18-22) than the generally 23+ year old players on women's national teams, but it's not even like any individual women's college roster will have the best 12 women basketball players aged 18-22 in the country.

So, yes, a local boy's U15 AAU basketball team could beat the LSU woman's basketball team by 109 points.
