Just for photographic proof.

But, it's baseball. It happens. Looking forward to getting to their ace early tomorrow.

Yep. That's one of my biggest peeves. If it's close, swing. Be a hero. Don't be a little bitch and pray for a walk.

So mad over a game that your team wasn't even in.

Nah bro you protect the strike zone and foul it off

This times a million..especially when your own teams knows the ump is all over the place.

can't stand an inconsistent strike zone.

It takes the game out of the hands of both the pitcher and hitter.

Agreed, but cant really expect much more from college level umpires.

Even with that, the pace of the game along with the passion of college sports, gives these games a "one up" on MLB IMO.

Im going to assume you didnt play baseball. That was never going to be a double play. That run scores the second you throw to 2nd. We had no shot to get the runner at first. If your going to call someone a bitch at least know what's going on.

I most definitely did play baseball, and we most definitely had a chance to get him at first if he hadn't looked him back at third. And regardless, if you feel that way then he made the wrong throw. Should have thrown him out at first after looking back the guy at third. We had two opportunities to win the game and gift wrapped two runs for them with the error and the passed ball.

The batter is suppose to fight off anything with two strikes because there's going to be those border line calls it's for that exact reason. He watched it. Too close to watch. That call could go either way so you fight it off.

It was a ball. It was indisputably a ball. That's all that matters. It was the wrong call. Just admit it, and enjoy your win.

That's Childress' fault for putting a sub .200 hitter in there.

He was fooled on a back door RFB from a submariner. It probably started 6 inches off the plate and would up 1 or 2. It was a great pitch.

If it was borderline. That pitch was 8 inches out of the strike zone.

No, you didn't. Laird wasn't even in the frame when the pitcher made the throw to 2nd. He wasn't getting doubled up.

I'd just like to remind everyone that BEN MCDONALD flat out said that it was a ball. There is no rational argument here.

it was the passed ball that decided this ballgame...you get Fraley out trying to extend a single, then Foster hits a single...then the catcher allows a ball to get by him...

That single play is what allowed LSU to win the game.
