So you're saying Les Miles is a nobody? Interesting.

If he says no to having bamma he would have been portrayed as scared to face you again so i say he was painted in a corner.

And I guess the AP, Harris, and Coaches Polls are made up of a bunch of nobodies too

ESPN pawns, like the coaches poll has coaches vote... more like the equipment managers....AP got panties in a wad over USC not being in the CG in '03 so they left...

The AP may have left the BCS but they still put out a poll every week during the season in case you didn't notice and they had Bama #2 just like the Harris and Coaches polls. But keeping making excuses. Like I said earlier, it's clear one team didn't deserve to be in that game, but it wasn't Bama.

Why do people even care who's preseason #1? Those teams rarely stay on top all season.

Hillarious. The problem for LSU last year (pointed out many times already, but once more)...

- All other teams shite the bed against inferior competition. Had this not happened LSU could have had their dream season.
- Since all other teams shite the bed, Bama's loss in overtime to the only undefeated contender in the country looked superior to say Okie State's loss to KState

- LSU's win was a win... but could also be seen as more a technicality than superior performance
- this view is supported with the skull thumping they received in the MNC.
- The current system is to find the two best teams in college football for the year for one final take all game. We know that they at least got part of this right. If anyone else could have given bama a serious run we will never know. The overtime loss in november was anything but convincing, thus the rematch.

Pretty sure Apex is trolling, but despite this it is still fairly transparent he is hurting and grasping for straws. Take a deep breath Apex, let some of it go and enjoy the summer.

Obviously your comprehension skills are that of a slug. My post was to Tiger fans to stop complaining about it. Stop focusing solely on Bamma. There is a long season coming up. But hey keep wearing the crimson colored gasses and hopefully you'll miss the stop sign and die in a traffic accident.

U mad, bro? Sorry I hurt your feelings by calling you out for making a dumb and incorrect statement. I'll try to be more sensitive to your delicate feelings in the future

Wrong. You mentioned something about everyone but bama believing they did not deserve to be there. A system is in place to find the two best teams, most deserving teams. Bama does not control that system.

Agreed on most points you, and the many other posters, make. The only caveat I pose to you is the deaths in the OSU family directly before their game.

??????? technicality, more like a precedent, it drastically diminished the importance of the regular season and now it lends a credible argument to teams that don't deserve to play in the NCG to have a chance.
CLARIFICATION Bamma was the second best team before the NCG, and the best after. IMO as far as deserving to be in the game 60/40 OSU/BAMA. And OSU would have spanked LSU if we played that way against them as well.
Believe what you want but the fact still remains. Bamma was the 1(b) best team in the country but lost to LSU at home. OSU was #2 but got out played in the positioning/media games.

This might be the most profound statement ever published inside this forum.

At the risk of being ostracized and called out by some of the "fake Alabama fans" who frequent this site:

Kudos's!

LMAO. Bama made mistakes the first time around allowing LSU to take it to overtime where Bama made more mistakes. That happens and Bama shouldn't have gone had other teams stepped up and proved they were better. Had Oregon won the rest of their games and gone, there wouldn't have been any issue. The fact is, Bama had a better team last year and lost a close overtime game. That happens.

LSU would have raped Okie State in the BCS game.

Bama took care of business and exposed LSU in the game that mattered.

An LSU overtime win does NOT equal the shut out.
