48-35

Similar to Bama game. OU never has the ball with a chance to take the lead

both fulton and stingley can win the war against lamb. no question about it. they might lose a battle here or there but they are more than a match for lamb. both of those 2 have faced elite wr's all season long

where is this idea coming from that lsu's oline is bad and okla will just run right through them. lsu has done quite well all season against elite d lines; uga, fla, aub, bama is good, state is good

and even if they do get pressure on burrow, he's as good under pressure as any other qb with a clean pocket

this is just silly. okla faced no elite teams this year and lost to freaking ksu. lsu beat aub, bama, uga, fla.

If Hurts protects the football, I think OU barely squeezes off a win.

An OU win depends on a lot more than Hurts protecting the football. How do you expect to stop Burrow? [Before you answer, please be aware we've played 4 defenses ranked better than OU's and none of them stopped or even really slowed Burrow.]

quote:

I think Burrow gets hit more than he has all season. LSU fans act like the Sooners have never faced a passing offense. The spread was invented in the Big 12.

Who do you have in pass rush that's going to do what AU, Bama, UGA, and UF didn't? And if you think what Burrow and LSU does can be summed up by just "the spread" you've proved that you haven't watched much of LSU this year.

quote:

Texas, a common opponent, was crushed by Baylor, and OU had to beat them twice.

Transitive property is a shitty metric [refer to UGA thumping their chests about beating AU similarly to how LSU did]. Might be better to compare entire season stats.

quote:

OU and Baylor will win for the confetence, and OU wins #8.

Neither of you would be ranked where you are if you played in the SEC.

Any other opinions you'd like to throw out there?

lsu has beaten
#3 auburn
#4 uga
#10 bama
#11 fla
#27 a&m

okla beat
#7 baylor
(lsu is #13)

So, one receiver is gonna shred our defense? Ever heard of double coverage gump?

Please do that.
Okay delusional Okie tard, explain how your team is going to exploit double coverage on one WR? Is Rambo suddenly going to become exceptional? Are your 3 freshman WR’s with 3 TD’s between them gonna beat us?

And while we’re at it, explain how your team is going to cover our Biletnikoff winner, Jefferson, Marshall, Moss, and our RB that has 50 catches.

You’re a special kind of stupid.

They had their shot at Bama last year with the Heisman winning Waterbug, and he couldn't get it done. I love Jalen Hurts, but LSU is better than they are.

This time they lose to the Heisman winner. And the SEC....AGAIN. frick Lincoln Riley.

He'll lose the game and at the presser he'll make it sound like they won ROFL

OU's offense is not that great

OU's defense is not that bad

This will be LSU's first time experiencing a long layoff for an offense that relies on timing.

OU can't stop tissue paper. LSU is a little better on defense and a tad better on offense. Both have up and coming coaches with a great off. Staff with lightning quick players. The difference will be CEH & the arm of Burrow.

This game is a terrible match up for OU.

LSU is battle tested against elite defenses, OU not so much.......and LSU boat raced them

Bamas WR crew is far far superior to OU......we know that result

LSU’s defense has gotten healthy (with 3 more weeks of R&R) and the last two games gave a hint of their skill set.

This game will not be close at all.

48 - 23 Good guys. Hurts will be good for a few key turnovers and LSU will pull away. OU has to play an absolutely perfect game to keep this close. Not going to happen.
