Not sure why you folks keep insisting these things are mutually exclusive. Again, Lane said he called for help after the aggression happened, therefore the police would know nothing about it, unless he told them.

It's possible his autistic arse was so overwhelmed at the time, that he forgot to tell them. It's possible that they dismissed his claim as bogus. It's possible he's lying. It's possible someome walked out in front of his car and he overreacted and thought some Rebel was coming for him. No one really knows except Joey and Knox.
