Resorting to the use of "Brah" and "son" are classic symptoms of being Grinded. He's definitely showing all the signs....

FIFH

I guess Mullen spending time in the top 10 at a place like Starkvegas is a better coaching job than SEC championships and NC appearances in Baton Rouge.

I mean congrats on being ranked, beating us, and being in the thick of the SEC west race for once I guess...
We've been ranked, beat MSU, and been in the SEC west race pretty much every single year for decades now.

Since the split in 92 LSU has:
-As many NCs as State has victories against LSU
- been in the BCS title games more times than State has beaten LSU
- 2 more SEC titles than state has victories over LSU

The BIG change for the LSU "D" happened when Beckwith became the starter at MLB. After that happened the tigers faced three SEC offenses that avg over 400 yards in conference play. All three were held under 320 yards, one even under 230 yards.

Take this how you want. The addition of Steele and coach "O" makes the defensive staff better as a whole.

Never said your LBs sucked. It's just that your backups don't have much actual game experience. Starters are solid.

LSU's run "D" will be tough because they will be solid up the middle with DTs, MLB and safties. All are high quality and experienced. DEs and OLBs will have the speed to run down anything on the corners.

What made state's Dline so good last year was their depth. They don't have nearly as much experienced depth going into this season. They won't get that much more experienced by the second game of the season.

We ALWAYS expect to win in starkvegas.

Let's see now. LF had almost 800 more yards than your RB. I'll take him.

There's no doubt state was the better team that night.

LSU is still the better overall football program.

They can not help it. It's in there genes. Chewing Bahia grass in their overalls while jingling cowbells they took off of ole Bessie has fricked up their mind.

If being grinded means 20-1 in last 21 years, consider the grind to happen

I'll compare last years grind to this years. Last year was like the movie hangover, hilarious and overall very entertaining. The sequel, not so much. Hangover II, as in this years so called "grind" sucked arse and was a terrible disappointment. But damnit are they trying hard.
