This is what happens when your entire existence is based on the success of a college football team in which you claim their success as your own.

it was never a thought that Bama would surely beat LSU or AU for that matter, this past season in the football

It will be a long time before Alabama ever wins in Baton Rouge again! So enjoy your past success you had in Death Valley. It will be a very long time before you experience another!!

LSU VS BAMA
8 years?

True. That was a nice streak. Was. Will it continue? Who knows.
But since you brought up streaks and the past, LSU won 7 of the first 8 from bama this century, including 5 in a row.
Y'all are only 12-10 against us since 2000, no one else has played you that close.

Bama's defense got progressively better when bowl practice came around and by the end of the bowl game against Mich, it was obvious the tide defenders had grown up and were ready to exert themselves in 2020! With McMillon an Dylan coming back to anchor the defense

I'm sorry but I didn't see that. I saw Michigan's O line push Alabama's defensive front around until the first series of the 4th quarter. I saw Michigan's QB miss open receivers all day long. Especially whoever Jobe was covering - that guy was open almost every single play.
It's really hard to tell because Michigan wasn't exactly a dynamic offensive unit but Alabama still struggled and especially up front. My take away was not how improved Bama was but more how inept Michigan was on offense.
Hopefully Spring and Fall practice will bring big improvements.

Idk why they stopped running the ball. They were averaging something like 5 yards per carry.

It was crazy. I mean run on first down and gain 5 yards. Throw incomplete passes on second and third down. rinse and repeat.

"I think he was 100 percent," Saban said Saturday. "I think obviously missing some time, missing some practice—I think that he played well, he made good plays in the game. I thought his mobility was probably not 100 percent, but I thought he had short-area quickness in the pocket. Maybe he couldn't run 100 percent, maybe he was 90 percent. I don't really know."

Not what the commentators were reporting. Most said he was about 70%
If that, on thurs of game week.. Get it rigbt! What would you expect Saban to say?

Champions don't make excuses..

Really? Really? How would you know? All I've heard was excuses on tbis board.
Purple tigers can't admit that you were giving a gift from above before you ever had to play Bama. Certainly, in tbe game tbere was divine intervention.

It all fell into place for ED. O. and afterwards he made a complete buffoon of himself. I really liked him and wished him the best. Until I found out what a poor sportsman he was. Still love his passion but his mouth is writing checks....you know tbe rest!
