the problem is it was poorly executed by the kicker. you should never kick it out because then you never give yourself a chance.

Because LSU isn't moving the ball very well, so there is no guarantee that you will score points even if that play works. OM is moving it, so if they get it at midfield you are pretty much conceding points. At least try to make them go 80 and earn it.
