Also, Vandy with just 2 votes? That's suspect as hell if the argument is that Notre Dame is a Top 25 team.

I believe every team in the top 14 would destroy Notre Dame and probably a few teams ranked lower than that.

I agree but would clarify two thoughts. First you left out OSU who is 4 in both polls. Second I think you are right and those who fall below 6 or 7 are pretty average only GA and Bama look like complete teams. The others have a hole or two.

Probably not. Auburn and LSU actually have a lot of similarities, the most glaring of which is occasional sloppy and undisciplined play that can be fairly laid at the door of the coaching staffs. But a lot of better coached teams would simply be overwhelmed by size and speed. Both teams will have to improve dramatically to have a shot at Bama or UGA but I doibt if there are ten teams out there with rhe athleticism to take advantage of those flaws.

This is spot on. LSU should be ranked #1. I don’t think they’re the best team but, they have played the hardest schedule thus far and are undefeated.
