Your perceived intelligence grows with each post. LSU is 12th in all-time wins.
can I see a link to that. Wikipedia has them at 16 with USC at 13.

honestly- i hated our fanbase so much during that time. i was ready for nutt to go but i hated the foia act request, the planes with banners, the emails etc.
to put it into perspective, i wasn't nearly as upset by the petrino fiasco and then the john l smith fiasco as i had been during the end of nutt.
Luckily LSU fans haven't resorted to such craziness (not saying there aren't some who would). I think our AD is a little more proactive than Frank Broyles was. The end of the Nutt era and what is probably the end of the Miles era have a lot in common. I honestly thought Arkansas fans would understand where we are coming from more than most. I remember all the people telling yall you should know your place and be happy back then, and you went out and got an upgrade. It just ended poorly

Thank you for your honest answer. It is a very similar situation.
I think it will be interesting to see how LSU plays next weekend. Most of the players loved Nutt and rallied around him for his last game against LSU. I believe it will speak volumes if the players come out fired up to play for him, in what might be his last game in the SEC.

you realize USC is ranked higher than yall on that list you posted right?

It's what I'm expecting

You realize I've said USC is arguably a better job, correct?
I'm laughing at your general lack of knowledge based on the "LSU is a Johnny come lately" comment. Did you really not understand that?

yeah I get you said that i'm just trying to figure out how you make that argument? I don't see a single thing that points to LSU being a better program. And compared to USC you absolutely are a johnny come lately to the elite football scene. USC is one of the longest storied programs in the country, even if they haven't been dominant lately the media would never let anyone know that.

That's rich coming from a aubbie fan; you're riding on a burning bus which, most likely, will make the high school state playoffs via the tiebreaker.

Of course you don't.

We understand that we scored more points than Auburn this year.

We haven't gotten blown out in 1 game this season, much less 3 in a row.

I think recruiting edge is close but I would probably give the edge to LSU. Louisiana produces great talent and your right next to Texas. USC beats almost everyone location wise though.

I was ready for a change about yr 6 or 7 and definitely every yr after that. I could tell the play before it was ever called so I know he was not hard to defend. He had several talented teams that were wasted. I don't mean this as an insult or flame but the last yrs I've watched LSU I see the same thing only Miles had better defenses.

he's simply saying, yes we've lost, no we're not happy about it but at least we're not getting our asses handed to us. iow, we can actually see improvement.
will we accept 7 win seasons going forward? hell no.

Recruiting is hard to judge for the schools. LSU is much easier to recruit for defense, particularly on the line and secondary.
LB, Oline, WR & RB recruiting are a push.
USC has a massive recruiting advantage when it comes to QBs though. Louisiana just doesn't produce top notch QBs year in and out.

If LSU lost 3 close games then Miles' seat wouldn't be nearly as hot. LSU hasn't competed in the last 3 games.
Fans can stomach losing at the end of a game. But when you have top recruits and fans are heading for the exits in the second quarter and then mass exodus in the 3rd you're not going to have a job for long.
Troll away though
