Go check out ANY head coaches record. They will have career total record of wins and losses.
Then there will be his record VS top 10 or top 25. Those numbers represent rankings at TIME OF GAME, not at end of season.

Unfortunately, as someone who bleeds magenta & gold myself, I think these experts are right.

Eh, I know it's a hypothetical bet, but if there was some way to do it I'd be willing to bet every starter on LSU's defense ends up on an NFL roster at some point in their career.

Dude, I get you saying Clemson and Alabama because that’s obvious but Georgia DOES NOT have as much DL talent as LSU. I’ll give you equal as far as production last year but skill wise, I disagree.

Notice how the point differential in their predictions are very close to razor thin?
They're homers...they don't have much confidence in their own team to win.

Rankings from Matt Miller's Way-Too-Early 2020 NFL Draft Big Board on Bleacher Report:
Defensive Line:
quote:Plus:
5. Rashard Lawrence, LSU
7. Breiden Fehoko, LSU
Tyler Shelvin, 4* So
Edge Rushers:
quote:
3. K'Lavon Chaisson, LSU (#17 overall)
Linebackers:
Michael Divinity, 4* Sr (#47 on CBS 2020 prospects)
Jacob Phillips, 4* Jr
Cornerbacks:
quote:Plus:
3. Kristian Fulton, LSU (#3 overall)
Derek Stingley Jr., 5* Fr
Kary Vincent Jr., 4* Jr
Safeties:
quote:Plus:
1. Grant Delpit, LSU (#30 overall)
Jacoby Stevens, 5* Jr
So while it may be a stretch to say that there are 11 NFL players on this defense, it’s likely that there are 8+ and 11 isn’t impossible.

We are Aggys daddy now. They can't have them back.
Make no mistake: this is the Custody Battle. And Aggy wants to stay with new Daddy

Then we are fricked.
Don't know if you've been out the loop, but our fanbase is not on great terms with SEC Officiating.

How do you get a one-armed Aggy out a tree?
