Texas had 2 on in the 8th and didn't score.

Texas used their 6th pitcher (16 total K's) to start the 9th, who walked the first two batters on 8 pitches. F#ck!!! Got an out, and then grooved a belt high fastball down broadway, which LSU (Dugas) hit for a no doubt about it 3 run homer.

Ball game.

A good ball game. Solid pitching and defense. Great layout catch by LSU 3B on a bunt foul pop-up.

Great throw by Texas CF to nail a runner at the plate.

First time I've seen a strike out, when a batter had two strikes and was late getting in the box, and was called out via the "penalty" strike.

Clean game. No chippy shite. Mutual respect.
