For someone who was at the game it is hard to overstate the impact of the wind, worst wind I've seen at a game in a very long time and it was swirling and unpredictable. Passes and kicks looked like knuckleballs. Goalposte were swaying back and forth constantly. Even screen passes were off on both sides. No excuses for A&M losing but neither team could throw the ball worth a shite. That is what made it into a defensive focused and run focused game that turnovers were huge in. It even impacted the volume, you could see people yelling their asses off but it didn't have the deafening effect you normally see at Kyle.
We lost and didn't deserve to win that game but there was no chance that game was going to have a lot of points in it in those conditions and with 2 good defenses.
