Then why is LSU broke. Louisiana brings nothing to the table as a state.

You're mistaking athletics for academics. Yes, the academic side is broke and backwards (as most things are in Louisiana); but their athletic department is funded by the TAF, which allows LSU to be one of 25 or so schools to be athletically self-funded. Heck, their athletic department donates a good portion to help academics yearly.

I think it is time we disbanded conferences for football. Go to 64 teams of schools that can compete. Sorry for school #65 etc...

LSU brings more Texas to SEC than Texas A&M does lmao. We still get the best players from Texas. You guys are literally still nobodies. Who are still fighting for nothing this season as always.

How about A&M should think about leaving again bc none of us wanted you guys here in first plays. And when I say you guys I mean your yell leaders

You clearly didn't read my post. I agree you're staying, but only because no other conference would take you. LSU doesn't bring enough to the table

So there are 4 teams worse in academics than LSU yet we should be gone lmao. I would rather our school be 10th in academics than be a shite football program like yours.

Also, you keep mentioning academics like it has anything to do with athletics money. LSU athletics gives money back to academics. I get this is a hard concept to understand.

I don't know if I have seen an Ag this triggered since the 2014 game.

Trust me though, the vast majority of LSU fans would gladly leave the SEC. We aren't scared to play Texas, so it would probably work out in the Big 12 for us.

Texas warned us about a&m's little brother syndrome, but none of us thought it would be this bad.

When Texas A&M joined the SEC, we brought upside to the conference by opening up the Texas market. LSU on the other hand brings Louisiana, which no one would find attractive. Sure there's slight upside in sports performance, but quite frankly, that's outweighed by the financial hang and lack of academics brought by LSU
