Feels like this hung over us forever but happy it's pretty much nothing! Still a few more things to come, but this has to be a good sign those won't be severe (right?)

This is 100% false.
The Cregg stuff is totally separate and went through the regular NCAA process.
The football stuff that was in the NOA from back in March is still part of the IARP process. It has three accusations.
- Impermissible contact with a recruit by Ed O. Level III violation and a big nothing burger.
- OBJ making it rain in the locker room after the 2019 national championship game. A little more serious, but LSU addressed it pretty promptly. Shouldn't be a big deal.
- $180,000 in payments from John Paul Funes to Vadal Alexander's daddy. Houston, we have a problem. That one probably ain't gonna buff out.

It was basically done and settled with the NCAA....then the NCAA merged football once the basketball stuff took off so they could tag LSU with LOIC. Pretty sure the football program was credited with being compliant with the NCAA and proactive to address the violations appropriately in LSU's NOA...Will Wade not so much

According to the article I linked, the NOA says the payments were made from 2012 to 2017. Alexander was at LSU from 2012 to 2015.

Maybe nothing comes out of it. Nothing of consequence should come from the Ed O or OBJ stuff, but that wasn’t my point. You said the football case was now done and over.
