The big difference being LSU fans have always called Miles out on his bad and stupid play calls. You refuse to though with Saban.

thats because lsu fans are pretty much the worst in existence. you are lucky miles is still there with the way you treat him.

Miles attempted (2) fgs in sixty minutes. That's the definition of a tight butthole. What happened to the mad hatter?

Yeah he did. And he did the same thing in the NC and you didn't and you beat us. So what's your point? You don't think I'm willing to criticize my team because I'm on this board. The board where it's sacrilege to be honest about your program.

I wouldn't go that far.

I agree. He puts up with more shite from the locals than outside. Ahh, the days of Hallman, where are you?

sweet. i can say whatever i want now with no reprisal. tyrann mathieu is the worst player ever to be be in heisman consideration, also not good in coverage. 35 people get teabagged per night on average at the bourbon street krystal. lsu will lose at least 2 games next year. 21-0. etc, etc..

My point was i think Miles was more in the camp "of playing not to lose in November" than Saban.

That said, I think me and you are talking about different things. I never said that you aren't willing to criticize your own team.

In the first game, I think both teams did and the score/game reflected that.

In the second, y'all had nothing to lose and played that way and we had everything to lose and played that way. The result: beatdown.

If executed properly he had an uncontested td. Why Brandon Gibson was even in the game is the question easily 5 WR better than him last yr. He dropped a td pass in the 2nd game also. Glad to see him graduate.

you cant fault gibson on the dropped pass. reid hits him square in the back of the head helmet to helmet as he is bringing the ball down. should have been a personal foul call. you can see gibson get knocked out and go limp for a split second in the replay.

Say what? I hope you can provide a pic of said personal foul. I'll wait.

Disagree with that. Both teams had a national championship to win and one went out and took it.

1) I thought you were talking about the 11/5 int.
2) That's not leading with the crown when the face mask is in the shoulder pad.

you mean the face mask gently brushing gibson's shoulder pad as reid slams his helmet full into the back of gibson's helmet. go watch the video, its even more clear in motion.

That is not a dirty hit. Gibson was already bobbling the ball when Reid was about to lay the wood.

There's nothing wrong with that hit Mr. Goodell.

Never happened. Don't you read this board?

You dont? I wouldn't either with all the Tide Fan whining. The thread titles on the first page are all you need to see to know who has a case of the butthurt over here.

the fact that he had not fully secured the ball is what makes him a defenseless player. if he had caught it and was running he is no longer a defenseless player.

2008 rule change : More emphasis is placed on eliminating hits on defenseless players and blows to the head. No player is permitted to initiate contact and target an opponent with the crown of his helmet, and no player is permitted to initiate contact and target a defenseless opponent above the shoulders.

2010 clarification: The committee also clarifies that contact above the shoulders with any body part is a violation (e.g., forearm, shoulder, etc.)

"Penalties to curb dangerous contact will continue to be called against players who target the head and neck area of defenseless players. This includes initial contact with a forearm, elbow, shoulder or helmet. A 15-yeard penalty will be enforced on these violations. In egregious situations, officials may eject the offending player."

Also sounds like Mathieu should have been ejected from the 11/5 game for his egregious cheap shot on Kirkpatrick. You guys all think that was a clean play too. Stay classy LSU
