I think most objective people will agree that LSU returns more talent than Alabama. However, that doesn't guarantee a win in Nov - I am interested in reason(s) from objective folks re: why LSU may lose that game.

That TrollTyde3 and/or BuccWildBammer guy said it was because LSU sucks according to his sources within the complex. He is an insider so I have a hard time disagreeing, however, I would like to flesh this out a bit more.

I would think the only way Bama wins is AJ plays out of his mind (again) and Mett is off. Thoughts?

I'm awfully suspicious of 4 posts but:
They can lose just like any other game, UA plays better. Both have a lot of talent, but 'team' play is more important than individual talent. I suspect it'll be a close game like it's been most of the time over the last few years.

I think if LSU has less points on the scoreboard, they will lose.

Points are definitely a predictor of win/loss.

I'm sorry - I should have stated that fans of insignificant teams should not reply to my post. My bad.

Go back to your Xbox. Or better yet, it's past midnight. What are you still doing up?

Sometimes it's quality over quantity. Yes, LSU returns more but does Bama have more talent with lesser guys?

IMO LSU wins due to revenge factor, the very thing Bama used in January. They had nothing to lose and played like it. Also, home field. Yes, Alabama is successful in BR, but none of those past matchups were following an embarrassing loss in the NC to the Tide. This won't be like any other LSU-Bama matchup.

It appears that I am embarrassing you. You would think with a larger post count you could talk circles around me. To be fair though, if we were discussing 2012 NCAA baseball you would probably be kicking my arse.

I didn't want your opinion - because your University is an cluster. If I was you, I would start over on this board and claim a new fandom (you only need 6 post to eclipse me!)

Nah. I'm good. Being an Arkansas fan is pretty nice at the moment.

Of all the SEC teams who would have thought the Hogs in the driver's seat in Omaha a month ago? Pretty nice indeed.

Really . . . your saving grace after losing the best coach you will ever have to a bike accident is the CWS? Does anyone even watch professional baseball anymore?

Yup, this has been a nice surprise

After we got swept I was nearly 100% sure that LSU was going to win the national championship

Baseball is a funny sport though
