Did I miss where the LSU offense was effective against alabama in november? 9 points is nothing to write home about and LSU had fewer yards of total offense than alabama did. Whatever makes y'all sleep better at night. Between "bama didn't deserve to be there" and "don't you remember november" I would have never guessed LSU got raped live in front of the whole country in January. "The best team in the country" crossed midfield one time...that's like if the Ravens played UL Lafayette. There is no way to spin it if you're lsu. Congratualtions on the win in November, but you were skullfricked when it mattered most with a month to prepare and Alabama made their arse quit, there's no dancing around that. You were physically manhandled and by the 4th quarter neither side of the ball wanted to trot back out there.

That's why most of you are still mad, not because you lost, or because you lost by 21, but because LSU was fricking dominated in every aspect of the game and they quit

Seems like it's only the Bama fans ( and Rickdaddy and a few other LSU posters) constantly going back to 1/9. Most LSU fans are excited for the 2012 season but the Gumptards are showing up in droves to tell us we should just shut the program down.

I can't wait for 2012...but when LSU fans come on here bitching and whining and making excuses, they're going to be reminded of 1/9

And it's the offseason, we have until september to bask in the national championship...besides, you all brought it upon yourself by replying "9-6" to every alabama poster in november and december

Again, the fricking OP is a Gump and the excuse machine in one guy, not "LSU fanS."

Would have been 12-6 if Ford hadn't stepped out of bounds.

But the past is the past right, let's not lose focus on what is in front of us.

It is a valid point really. After months of 9-6, 21-0 became too easy. People did the 9-6 to push buttons just the same as the 21-0 gets posted now. I prefer not to talk much poop because November is always a chance to get humbled for either side.

I don't know. I think both fan bases are too far gone at this point to be humbled.

You Bama fans are a funny bunch.
How is saying a teAm that beat more ranked teams, more deserving, mad. It's called reality in every bcs participant choosing except last year. Again if who you lost to is so important, why was Florida chosen over Michigan in 08?

If Shula and Dinardo couldn't humble us... you're probably right.

I think you are confused. Both kickers played and missed fgs in the 11/5 game. Cade Foster missed the most fgs in that game, but those kicks were not out of his range. In 2010 he made 5/6 kicks of 40 yards plus attempted, with a long of 49. in the 11/5 game he missed a 44 yarder, then a 50 yarder, then the other kicker shelly had one blocked from 49, hit one from 34, then foster hit a 46 yarder, in regulation. foster missed one from 52 in ot. Saban had faith in his leg and it bit him in that game, it happens. foster did not attempt a fg in the 1/9 game, but shelley, the short range kicker, hit several from 40+ in that game. do you think saban does not know the true capabilities of his kickers? cade foster's kicks where from 44, 50, 46, and 52. he had a career long of 49 at that point. not unreasonable to think that of those 4 kicks he would have hit at least 2 of them, since he had been the long field goal kicker for 2 years, hit on 5/6 long tries the previous year.

Clearly Saban doesn't know his kickers capabilities. And the kicker whom kicks te short ones was blocked. Also he had made one 49 yard kick EVER. ONE. THESE LENGTHS YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT PRO KICKERS MAKE 50% of the time. But yeah Bama has two that routinely make them.

Dude, let it go. We signed up a long time ago to play by the BCS' rules and by that Bama was BCS #2. Therefore the system worked as it should. OSU shouldn't have lost to Iowa fricking State. You can't love the BCS one year ('07) then bitch about it later ('11). Get over it.

Well, it's blatantly obvious some LSU fans aren't over 1/9 yet. They'll get there, give them time. We both have every reason to be excited for the 2012 season. Bama knows what they have coming back while LSU has only seen slight glimpses. If everything comes together like it should the LSU/Bama game 11/3 will be another one for the ages.
