My bad. There was an economist named Richard Lipsey from Canada. Had no idea how he was connected to Baton Rouge. Went to Steinberg’s a LOT as a kid just to wander the aisles. Did not know the connection. Only a casual gun owner. Need to up my game and give them some business.

I guess not...it will be close to 100 million to pay fired coaches and get a new staff in place. Ad has to go too, that's a big arse mistake hire. I should have gotten into coaching schools could fire me every year.

None at all. In fact, I’d argue that you should save money on the coach and just use the money to buy players. That’s where Saban, Dabo, Smart, etc succeeded. They were able to recruit way better than anyone else because their compliance offices were on board with keeping everyone protected. When Saban arrived at LSU he immediately had the chief compliance officer re-assigned to season ticket sales or some bullshite. They didn’t win because they were such great “coaches.” They won because they had the best players. Exactly what Saban warned against when they started this transfer portal bullshite and he was absolutely right, yet again. Get an affordable coach that isn’t a complete retard like Kelly, make good coordinator hires and spend your money on Jimmies and Joes.

Yeah, you might want to be careful taking that approach. Sexton will make the school put up an LC to secure the next coaches contract.
