They beat the shite out of a handicapped Purdue team in the same stadium 9 months ago. Then they got some upgrades and new special teams, and they watched the media crown them in the top 5, and thought they’d just plug the stereo back in and go to work.
Then they got the fricking shite punched out of them.
It was nationally embarrassing and overall a pretty brutal lesson. I’m interested in seeing what the coaches do with it. They’ll either pick up the pieces or they’ll completely fall apart. Only one way to find out.
