He gets paid for every win Ole Miss has in the playoff. With each win he gets paid more. I may have read it wrong, but I read where if Ole Miss wins this next game he'll get $250,000 which goes on top of over $150,000 he's already been paid for each game they won so far, and if they win the NC he gets paid a million. Even if they don't win the NC, what they've already paid him now is right at half a million dollars. I don't understand why LSU would agree to that when that money could have gone to the NIL pot. But I'm assuming LSU has so much in NIL money that any extra they agreed to pay Lane for how Ole Miss performed in the playoff is just chump change.

What if Lacy is paid the exact amount of Kiffin’s bonuses to transfer to LSU? Or Chambliss I guess but I don’t see him moving to LSU.

From everything I've read, the contracts between Ole Miss, LSU, and UF were the same.
