Who gives a shite?

Coaching salary smack is some of the weakest shite on this board.

Coaches make a lot of money because college athletics make a lot of money,

This.

The obsession over "Jimbo's money" drips of insecurity, stupidity, and generally smells like corn dogs. Don't fall into that level of nonsense.

Seems like a good deal for a natty. Y’all paying Jimbob 100m for an Orange Bowl and maybe a Citrus Bowl this year. Lmaooo

Yep... just like a SEC Championship and National Championship. Both things CEO did that jimbo hasn't and will not accomplish while at aggie-ville.

Imagine how much A&M would pay for 1 moment like this.

In fairness, LSU paid $46 million for that one moment, because that one moment is pretty much all you got from him.

How much has that moment cost you since 1980? I'd do the math but it's not worth the effort.

He’s being paid 17 million to walk away.

That’s 46 million for 5 years.

The buyout is being paid over several installments until 2025 as he's still technically a university employee thus your entire premise for this topic is false.

Exactly. I've never understood the obsession over how much coaches get paid. It's not our money.

Of course its your money if its a public university

I don't care how much it costs. LSU fans are the ones trolling A&M fans with that narrative.

He has accomplished more than the history of Texas A&M athletics

They’ve spent over half-a-billion on the football program since 2012. The best they could muster was a 10-1 season, in a COVID year, in which the best team they beat was a 3-loss Florida squad.

LSU hires a shrimp boat captain at $4.5 million a year and has an undefeated season three years later.

Some programs are championship caliber. tamu isn’t one of them.

It seems inconsistent to defend firing a guy and paying a huge buyout with “we won a natty.”
