I'm not saying we run the option like GA Southern, but to say it's beyond the ability of our team to run the same scheme as them on your defense is ludicrous. Regardless if Kirby said it or not.
smart has been pretty ok as a defensive coordinator. he also knows a little bit about responding to media questions. how's your d.c. resume?

quote:Yeah, the reason people don't run it is because it's not effective if you sell out to stop it. It's not because teams can't run it.
I think with the personnel we have here now we could run the option just as effectively if we game planned for it like an fbs school does.

Hilliard/Ware as the FB, Ford/Blue as HB, JJ running the ball. Add in our depth at receiver and that'd be just too mean.

The guy he responded to probably deserved it.

Kirby is so scared of the option. Remember after his fat slow linebackers got gashed for 300 yards rushing and he said "Georgia Southern wasn't an option team when we scheduled them. If they were, we never would have put them on the schedule."
What a fricking pussy.
What a fricking pussy.

We could run the option just as effectively as them since the talent difference is so large. It's like the talent difference between LSU wide receivers and Bama wide receivers
And thanks to those who called me illiterate, it's amazing how I'm able to type out sentences with words and read and shite and still be an illiterate mook. It shows how much of an adult you are. You must have a solid point if your biggest rebuttal is namecalling.

Problem with that is no one said we could run it as effective as them without designating a ton of time to implementing it.

apparently it only takes a few months to perfect it. Georgia Southern made the switch to the option offense prior to this season and by mid season were able to gash the greatest defense of all time for 300+ yards.

It would take a while to implement the full offense, yea, but to implement enough to run it in a game we would've had enough time

Obviously you can't read if you think that anywhere in my post I said that we could run the option as effectively as GA Southern.
Obviously if you can't read I'm going to call you illiterate.
The mook part was just for fun. How about baboon? Neanderthal? Bitch? fricking ignorant lout? I could go on if you'd like.

I said we could run it as effectively.
We can't with only a short time to prepare it.

Play GSU with half your starters sitting out while playing a meaningless game with 3rd teamers. Go ahead and read too much into that game.

If all we did since the sec championship was implement an option offense, we would run it more effectively than ga southern.

~The team had a bad pregame meal. Stomachs were rolling.
~No one cared about this game. We knew we would win.
~The crowd wasn't into it which lead to the team not being fired up.
~Kirby didn't want anyone to get hurt so he told the defense to only give half effort.
~Donta was bloated that day.
~Coach Saban pulled a JoePa and had the trots during the game and had to run to the bathroom. The players thought they could slack off while he was gone.
Did I miss any excuses?
