Any idea if this stuff will be over by the start of the season or is it going to linger in legal purgatory?

Mostly now? You keep changing your tune each page. Read the proceedings

Johnny J Chavis and the Mechanical Agricultural school are going to pay the entire amount. I hope sanctions come as well preferably the death penalty

No way this gets settled before the season. Chavis and the LSU AD have made it personal, both want to drag it out.

Honestly the resolution will be satisfactory to no one. That is the law for you. That is why I don't make crazy claims like this is an Aggie slam dunk or the NCAA is going to get involved.

The real Aggie victory will be when we beat LSU next season on a last minute defensive stand and this place melts like a chunk of ice in boiling water.

And I am not saying that because I think A&M will be world beaters, or because Chavis is magic. I am saying that because the corndogs are putting themselves on a tee, and the football gods love to frick with them.

Maybe. I won't say we won't, it is a small amount of money and we might want this to go away one day with a settlement.

The one thing that won't happen is we won't outright "lose" in the court, aka the judge rules Chavis is 100% wrong and we pay everything including legal fees. I will Sig bet you on that one.

Big Brother wakes up at noon on a hangover , hesitantly glances over at Cheer Boy to make sure Cheer Boy is real, facepalms, and then proceeds to ruin Aggie's Saturday. I don't make the rules of The Football Universe, I just enjoy them.

Now Aggie has pinned their dreams of someday beating Big Brother on an obese 60 year old professional melt-down artist. The same melt-down artist who allowed his ego to outrun his waistline, burned his bridges like a 25 year old office-assistant, destroyed his personal reputation, and now is depending on a bunch of Aggies last seen pulling bits of Leonard Fournette's helmet out of their remaining teeth, to rehabilitate it.

Aggie is about to learn another painful lesson in a long line of Aggie painful lessons.

I want y'all to feel like victory is certain next season. If for one second y'all believed that we just bought a win vs Les because of your incompetent AD the melt would never end.

Heck I want the new coaches to be a success for y'all. A good LSU football program is good for A&M, we need y'all to keep finding future coaches for us.

Then why do you dumbass's keep starting these useless threads.

I glad that he is gone, we will do out talking on the field.

I am more interested in knowing who Fournette is going to run over this year !

This is a civil courtroom, not a football game. Victory is rarely clear and all on one side.

When corndogs on the other side claim the AD is 100% right, Chavis will pay everything including legal fees, and the NCAA will get involved then I don't really have to be unreasonable in my claims to have a clear differentiated stance.

When it comes to bump time I am not going to be the one that looks ridiculous.

You sure do have a lot of "wants" and "needs". Combined with your appeal to The Football Gods and your near-religious belief that an assistant coach will result in your Salvation, I'd say you are an extremely emotionally-needy and religious man who wants good things to happen to you today. Are you sure you aren't Oral Roberts?

Is that what Chavis was? A hand me down?

Makes sense in a way. Your AD politically shed some weight thanks to shitty state budgets, so you have to hand me down your elite workout clothing to your still ripped little bro who can afford the protein shakes needed to utilize it.

Any other top talent LSU can't afford anymore in the current environment we would be happy to have handed down.

Fournette will be taking pictures with his family by the start of the 4th quarter. Another freshman running back will have a career high vs A&M. Guice or Brossette? That is the question.

That is because of lifelong Saints fandom.

A&M's salvation came when OU couldn't afford half the facilities they have planned to catch up to us. Chavis is just the icing on that rum cake.

He shed more than "some"

You know damn well the budget cuts don't reach the AD.

My Mom bought me cotton candy when I was 7. It still didn't stop my Big Brother from taking it. Big Brother takes what he wants.
