We are officially fricked. Crappy hire of a guy once suspended for a Title IX scandal. Imagine next step is to promote Frank Wilson.

Hope I am horribly wrong but I’ve seen this guy in action — terrible scheduling of away game openers, losing his own all-star kids to Auburn and Notre Dame, etc.

What? They didn’t call the Mississippi State AD delivery service that Florida, Auburn, and by proxy, Alabama have a subscription to?

A few more schools and then we order the code red.

No matter who LSU picked as AD people hear would had said bad hire. Guy has been in LSU athletics for 24 years. As far as me I couldn’t name one of the other SEC ADs. And don’t care.

Interim tag removed for Verge Ausberry.
I was told it'd be Saban.

I was also told,

So many taxpayer funded schools have become absolute freak clown show, side circus exhibits.

What an embarrassment. Good luck with Rhett Lashlee, LSU.

Auburn will hire the Starkville, Mississippi Yellowjacket's head coach, Florida will settle on Glenn Schumann, and all three will set their families up for the next 3 generations for when they're inevitably fired 3 years from now

Clown show.

You can tell Mizzou fans just don't understand

Nah, not Stoops. It's not about mediocrity, it's about good ol' boy network regaining control.
Stoops doesn't have La connections. It'll be someone with ties to the state, that will cater to the big money boosters.

It looks like today, we've undone everything Emmert and Saban did two decades ago.

Hopefully frank knocks off bama and keeps the job he’s earned!

He’ll probably hire Art Briles. What’s a little rape coverup among friends?

Ausberry violated LSU’s own policies and potentially broke a federal law when he failed to report former LSU football player Drake Davis’s admission to Ausberry that Davis punched his girlfriend. Davis told Ausberry that Davis hit his girlfriend, who played tennis for LSU, via a text message in April 2018, according to USA TODAY. USA TODAY also reports that another woman — not the tennis player — tried to tell Ausberry in 2018 of dating violence she experienced with Davis. It has been the athletic department’s policy to keep complaints about sexual assault and domestic violence concerning athletes inside the athletic department instead of reporting to them LSU’s Title IX office as required, according to USA TODAY. Ausberry told The Advocate that Davis recanted his previous admission of hitting his girlfriend when Ausberry called him immediately after receiving the text. Ausberry said this was a factor in his decision not to report the incident to the police or university authorities, though, he said, with hindsight, he should have made a different call. Police only found out about Davis’s text to Ausberry months after it was sent, when Davis was being investigated in another domestic violence incident involving the tennis player and law enforcement searched Davis’s phone. The violence between Davis and his former girlfriend had escalated. He strangled her a few months after the text to Ausberry, and Davis eventually pleaded guilty to two counts of battery and violating a protective order. He has since left LSU and been arrested again for alleged violence against another dating partner, though that case hasn’t gone to court yet.

Great look! Congrats

That’s an awful long time to cover up a lot of domestic violence towards their women athletes.

Verge likely already has a candidate on the hook, and the board liked it enough to keep him on.

They were probably scared he would beat their wives if they voted against him.

Dude seems to have a long track record of being involved in domestic/sexual impropriates. Yet he always pops right back up off the mat. He is like the Highlander of sexual harassment.

DEI hire incoming.

LSU's next head coach is black. Ausberry will hire Tyrone Willingham before he will hire a White man.

Maybe, but people also said this last time, and they hired the whitest white guy imaginable.

That would be great if he can manage LSU football team to beat Alabama football team.
