Miami's oline is going to be bad. It is going to be a coming out party for K'Lavon, Lawrence, Fehoko, and the Rougarou. The Miami QB will be on the ground all day. LSU 38-10.

I'm really thinking the defense comes out in this game and sets the tone for the rest of the year.

Funny you should say that we don’t have a proven running back when in fact Tae Provens is actually one of our running backs this year.

LSU will handle the U in the trenches, wear them down and take control late in the game. LSU wins 27-10.

I dont know how bad Miami’s OL is going to be, but it unfortunate that their weakness is our major strength!

I see 7 sacks on the night vs the U.

U mean him being able to do at lsu what he couldn't do at Ohio state. If this guy starts against Miami, lsu is in a lot of trouble. Like losing season trouble.

You mean like Jake Coker, who couldn't start at Florida State but started at Alabama and won a national title?

I don't see Miami putting up 27 points against our D. I just don't see it happening.

Uhhhh.... how about Norte Dame? Troy? Miss State?

Other than Tr, who is claiming LSU to have an elite defense next year, much less the “best front seven in the nation (surely Tr is joking?).” Maybe they will be good, maybe not...but there are a lot of question marks at LB and CB and even DL which got pushed around last year. And please... if you reply, spare me from reading a list of the LSU roster...I know who is on it and I’m not overly impressed at this point.

The projected all SEC team does not feature a roll call from LSU. I know pre season projections are garbage, but these do indicate the pros are not impressed with much of the individual talent at LSU.

I recommend restrain expectations....better for mental health.

LSU wins by 10-14. Miami was grossly overrated last year. They had a ridiculous turnover margin over their first 10 games, several of which were very close wins. IMO, the last three games (double digit losses to Pitt, Clemson, and Wisconsin) were more indicative of what Miami really was.

I hate to say "go frick yourself" to a Gator fan but do so. LSU is going to kill Miami.

ETA: Their QB situation is awful, their Oline is bad. LSU will do whatever they want on defense.

What I meant was, I dont think their offense could put up many points against our defense. Jeez. It's like you people just search for reasons to make someone look stupid.

Last year is way different. We lacked depth on the Dline, now we're stacked. We have plenty of depth on defense this season including CB and LB.just because a starter hasnt been named opposite of Greedy Williams or Devin White doesn't mean we have major needs at that position or whoever is filling that position cant get the job one. Leave it to a Gump to try and tell a Tiger about their defense. smh. Spare ME with that mess.

No...I thought it was a perfect post when you said Miami only wins if they shut down LSU and also find a way to score. It is so true it may be the most accurate thing ever posted.

My point about the D is this...”depth” isn’t a list of names or a whole bunch of bodies. It is two/three deep really good players. LSU does not have proven depth... it has a lot of bodies. Good god, on Tr statements are raining down claiming top 5 in the NCAA. Whoa Nellie.... that remains to be seen especially since no one has any idea who the other three LBs in the 3-4 are, or if they are SEC quality, of if the revamped secondary can handle the complexity of read defense scheme.

But it wouldn’t be off season if my LSU friends weren’t starting to be delusional about this time. Tr is beginning to perculate nicely. Let the optimism flow and flos....

Oh...I honestly don’t know anything about burrows. Most transfer QBs don’t really light it up. But I suspect he is a Coker or Etling type. Decision making skills are pretty untested, but he should be better than the home grown options.

PS: I hope LSU kills Miami... can’t stand that bunch of drug thugs.
