Am I in bizarro world here or something? LSU fans are celebrating because they won a court case in fricking Baton Rouge. Lol of course you did. I wouldn't be surprised if the court room was next to the stadium and the judge comes to work everyday in LSU colors.

Please keep thinking you can ignore conference rules and the conference will just sit back and do nothing.

I hope like hell the LSU roster has a bunch of those pro players on it tomorrow.

You are just saying random words at this point.

You realize people can read it right?

This is about the first thing Sankey has gotten right. And if he did get fired for some reason, the next guy will be doing the same thing because 15-0.

On what grounds? How are they different up until the point the SEC reacts?

Thats why every other state is doing the same thing. Texas had the first TRO.

Do you understand what the lawsuit against LSU is?

It's not about any specific players eligibility. It's about LSU/Kiffin using the courts in a coordinated campaign to overturn SEC rules and take away the conferences right to choose who it associates with (aka who can be eligble).

You are attacking the SEC and its members and trying to force rule changes.

Bedako was a single person on a specific reason, not a broad campaign to change SEC rules. Chamberbliss also a single person on a specific reason. I'll agree with you that neither of them should play or should have played.

That is the difference. Single instances vs LSU trying to force rules on the rest of the conference. Again, nobody in the history of the SEC has tried to pull this kind of crap. The entire conference was united against you when they voted.

a broad campaign to change SEC rules.

Do you really think that’s what’s happening here? The fact that it happened for 2 kids rather than 1 is your distinction? Or are you under the impression this max filing was orchestrated by lsu to get 2 back ups?

It doesn't matter, in the 93-year history of the SEC, nobody has ever defied the conference and its rules like this

Since you're such a historian and rules expert, perhaps you'd know that
quote:

Ole Miss didn't decide to directly violate an SEC rule

Is false because the SEC bylaws state they recognize the NCAA's determination of eligibility. Trinidad was ruled ineligible multiple times, and he filed a lawsuit thus violating the SEC rules.

that was just passed to deal with the situation

Cool, so the rule is 5 minutes old but you're saying it's somehow the #1 rule that LSU broke.

Yes, that is exactly what's happening and that is what the lawsuit the SEC filed against LSU is about specifically.

You are forcing rules on the entire conference that they do not want. The Big10 doesn't want them, the Big12 doesn't want it. The ACC doesn't want them. Several mid major conferences don't want it either.

The CFP doesn't want them.

But here comes LSU and their local courts saying frick the rest of the SEC and everyone else, we'll do what we want.

And the way I feel about it is if you want to be independent, then go be independent. Play those players all you want. But if you want to be a SEC member then you abide by the SEC rules.

He is one person on a specific exception; he isn't forcing the entire conference to change it's rules.

And hell, I agree he shouldn't be allowed to play. Getting a TRO to bypass the rules is total bullshite.

The teams that have to play him probably disagree. The players that he takes Heisman votes away from probably disagree. Joey Aguilar and Tennessee surely disagree.

Hell, Pavia got to play last year after he and Vandy said frick the rules. Cam Newton got paid $200k. GTFO here with your dumbass "it's been 93 years and LSU is the first!" retarded take.

If you can't understand the difference between a single exception and a campaign to force conferences to change their rules entirely, then I'm not sure what else to say to you.

Good luck.

Then you can rest easy. I've been assured here that the SEC will put LSU in its place. No need to worry.

Spoiler alert: If there's any chance LSU won't get away with this, they won't play the players.

If they do, it's over. They know no one can stop them.

I'm not sure it even matters if you play them at this point. It's not just about eligibility anymore.
