LSU is screwed; Renowned CFB expert picks the Sooners

There will be a lot or predictions made about the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, but none like the one the Atlanta Zoo tweeted out on Monday.

The Oklahoma Sooners and the LSU Tigers will face-off in the College Football Playoff Semifinal on Dec. 28, and it figures to be a thrilling matchup. The Tigers, who are the No. 1 seed in the playoff, are the favorite, but that didn't stop one unique prognosticator from taking the Sooners as the underdog.

On Monday, the Atlanta Zoo tweeted out a video of Yang Yang the Giant Panda predicting the winner of this year's Peach Bowl. With two boxes full of food — one painted with the Oklahoma logo and the other painted with the LSU logo — Yang Yang selected the Sooners without much consideration for the Tigers.

The bad news for Oklahoma fans is that Yang Yang does have a losing record when it comes to picking the Peach Bowl. The last time his pick won was back in 2016, when Alabama defeated Washington. In 2017, Yang Yang picked Auburn, which lost to UCF. Last year, Yang Yang picked Michigan prior to its loss to Florida.

We'll find out if Yang Yang is right when the 2019 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl between Oklahoma and LSU kicks off from Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Dec. 28 at 4:00 p.m. EST. The game will air on ESPN.
