It's a shame your state is so poor the athletic revenue has to support the rest of the university and can't be pumped into putting a product on the field and on the court reflective of the programs potential.

I think it's better to have both.
Alabama and Kentucky would suggest it can be done either way.
An in-depth analysis of Florida under Meyer / Billy D would probably show exactly how valuable both is in comparison to one or the other

LSU finished with one of the best combined football and basketball seasons in the country this year and we have inbreds here laughing that we did it for a much cheaper price than others.

Ah so is the state poor or the athletic department? Sorry our state has a dumbarse as governor that makes retarded comments about shutting down LSU football to attempt to pass legislation. You do have something correct. LSU has the worst AD at an SEC school right now with Alleva. LSU badly needs a change here
