5 Championships in the last 10 years. I'd rather lose a championship game or two inbetween than go 9-4

tDecline is real, tho. Y'all are stuck with a bad value coach whose best days are behind him.

Not to mention you paid Avery $2.9M for an NIT appearance. VERY SAD.

And you have what exactly? A coach whose best days were when he was getting drunk every night coaching DL at Miami? Or when he was a glorified cheer leader running around USC practices ripping his shirt off?

You’ll have to forgive the Bama fans. They aren’t good at any other sports and when the temperature increases in the trailer parks, they get rowdy.

Yep. And $5.5M to replace him with the next big thing in CBB. Now we have a coach who was one gan e away from your precious 2019 Sweet Sixteen at the University of Buffalo. Just imagine what my boy Nate Oats is about to do with resources

Rise? You've been a 3-4 loss football team for 7 years and your basketball team in the midst of a "rise" has a suspended head coach

Your obsession with LSU is weird, but kind of par for the course for bama fans.

So next year UA will pay about $16M and win zero championships ...

Averys buyout doesn't apply to salary figures

And there'll be a nice football championship

What stands out the most about this is South Carolina, Arkansas and A&M are paying way too much for what they are getting in return.

Ahhh yes. That's right. LSU is 'completeky broke' and 'poor.'

New 1.5$ billion statewide campus unification initiative.
LSU Foundation raising millions.
Billion $ Pennington Biomedical research campus supplying the world with disease research and cures.
Forever LSU Campaign's Top Thirty Quality Thrust.
LSU Tiger Athletic Foundation continues in major Athletic Dept projects.
LSU Press is one of the top publishers in this country.
Millions in new campus construction including new buildings and renovations to the Memorial Tower Campanile, Tiger Stadium, Alex Box Stadium, and the LSU Union and a campus Barnes and Noble.
The Nicholson Drive Corrider from campus to downtown is beautiful and booming.

But LSU is poor.

Right.

What is wrong with you Things ????

Oats ceiling is 18 wins and an 8 seed in the NCAA tournament.

It’s more likely he’ll finish below that 3 years in a row and they’ll move onto the next “home run hire” after their initial target turns them down (like Marshall and then Prohm did)

It’s the Bama basketball cycle.

Auburn’s current superior basketball program has them squeamish.

Every Alabama basketball coach since 1968 has had at least 3 seasons with 18+ wins and done no worse than appear in one 8 vs 9 NCAA Tournament game

Oats is the real deal. Predicting he wins fewer than 18 games three years running is beyond a laughable troll
