You sound like you’re trying to convince yourself as much as the rest of us. That offensive line and our imposter of an OC pretty much guarantee we ain’t winning shite this year. Back to the drawing board.

I don't think he was going that high, not after starting for one good not great year. He had just seen both Burrow and Daniels make tremendous strides in starting in year 2 and we threw a shite load at NIL getting him targets to throw to. Depending on who you believe, he didnt put the time in this off-season, he is hurt, or he has a dead arm. Some of the dumber ones are he hates Kelly (why would he return), or is scared to run/sit in the pocket (then why stay in college were QB's are hit a LOT more).
I think he made the right decision and in hind sight it was the wrong one. Then again, who knows? He still has a cannon arm and will likely look allworld in workouts/combine and does enough to convice some desperate team to take him early. Its not like the NFL isnt known for making horrible decisions when it comes to drafting a QB.

lsu should have a chance at home. but we are demoralized and Kelly/sloan won't try anything different.
