Wow, I hope no one else ever plays LSU twice in one season, if that's the result.

Nothing really excuses them for being unable to score even 3 points in that championship game. It's one of the most embarrassing losses of all-time.

I travel extensively for work, or did before COVID. If you are in fact a LA transplant my guess is you live in SE Texas or Mississippi.

My family is originally from Louisiana but I've lived my entire life in Mississippi before moving to the Midwest around three years ago.

Well there isn't much else in the state, so I understand the loyalty to the school from the natives ... there are also a few transplants that were able to rise up and leave the state. Most of which live in Mississippi and SE Texas.
